Components:

Sterile draining polymeric sorbent, dioxydine, terrilytin.

Indications for use:

ACEPTISORB®-DT is efficient for the treatment of purulonecrotic wounds of different etiology with liquefactive necrosis and microbial content exceeding 105-106 microbial bodies/cm2.

How to use:

ACEPTISORB®-DT is applied to the wound surface by powdering (poudrage). Depending on the degree of wound exudation, the thickness of the sorbent layer on the wound should vary from 1 to 3 mm. The sorbent layer is covered with a sterile gauze or non-invasive dressing, while the dressing is fixed with the gauze, elastic or knitted tubular mesh bandage. Dressings are carried out once in 1 – 3 days depending on the severity of the wound process and the amount of wound exudate. Being in contact with the wound, the sorbent is converted into coarse-grained gel providing active outflow of wound exudate and microflora. In the course of the dressing, the formed coarse-grained gel is removed with a tampon soaked in a solution of any antiseptic, or washed with a solution of any antiseptic active jet from a syringe or washing bottle.

After the wound is cleared of the infected fluid and necrosis and areas of granulation tissue appear, it is recommended to use ACEPTISORB-D® sterile draining polymeric sorbents with  antimicrobic  effect and ACEPTISORB®-A sorbents with analgesic effect, as terrillitin in ACEPTISORB®-DT leads to inhibition of regeneration processes and increased wound healing time.
